Latest new product update. - 21/01/2008 |

We are a little late with a few of these parts appearing in the news item but we feel they are still worthy of a mention. Over the past couple of months we have a handful of new parts available for several different models. These include new remaps for the Clio 197 and Megane 2 175 DCi models, two new versions of a KTR exhaust system for the Megane GT, our new KTR Ultra performance Clio 182 exhaust system and finally the Piper 285 camshaft for the Renault 5 GT turbo. Details of all these superb new parts are available in the relevant sections on our webiste.

New 225 hose and Christmas closing times. - 21/12/2007 |

One last new product now in stock for 2007 is the Samco air filter inlet hose for the Megane 225 and 230 models, more details can bee seen inthe 225 section on this site. We have enjoyed a good year during 2007 and we hope to make 2008 even better, but before we get a chance to start we are taking a well earned break. We will be closed from 1pm on the 21st December 2007 and we will reopen at 8.30am on the 2nd January. Online orders can continue to be placed but will not be shipped until the first week of January. New brakes, exhausts and suspension kits. - 12/10/2007 |

We are now pleased to announce the arrival of Weitec suspension kits for the Clio 172. They are superb German quality and details can be found in the 172 suspension section on the site. Also new are our Fast Road brake kits for many Megane 2 models with a growing range of pads arriving over the next few weeks. Finally we have 2 new exhaust systems available for the Clio 2. These are our new KTR recessed exhaust system and KTR stealth system, at present both are in stock and available for the 1.2 models with the 1.4 and 1.6 models available by the end of October.

Over the past couple fo months we have introduced a few new parts for the Renault Sport models. These include genuine Renault Sport styling parts for the Clio 197, our KTR billet flywheel for the 172/182 models, the Samco inlet hose for the 172/182 modelsand our hand held code reader which works on all Clio 2 and Megane models and can save expensive trips to the dealer to switch off your engine warning light. In most cases the upgrade can be carried out within 1 hour and once installed you will notice a huge difference in the performance of the car. K-Tec Racing have now been appointed the official distributor for the Renault range of Carbon Lorraine brake pads. These superb pads are perfectly suited to track driving and we have certainly found them to give incredible stopping power on our 197 demo car which we use not only on the track but day to day on the road. You will find a very wide fitment list ranging from the R5 right upto the Clio V6. Please see the brake sections for your car on the site. And one word of warning, if you do fit these pads please make sure you are wearing your seatbelt when you test them for the first time.

Following a long wait we are please to announce that Milltek have finally released their prices for their Clio 182, 197 and Megane 225 exhaust systems. The prices can be found on the relavent exhaust sections on this website and deliveries of these new exhausts will start during early February. Over the last couple of months we have begun an exhaust system development program which will see us release some new and exciting systems along with a re-design of some of our most popular exhausts. Among the first Renault models to benefit from this development is the Clio 172. We have launched our new Recessed cat back system along with a new version of the Stealth system. Both are being launched under our new "Ultra Performance" title which means they will be the best on the market for fit, sound, quality and performance. The recessed system is a sporty sounding system which looks as good as it sounds once fitted and the Mk2 version of the stealth has been remade from scratch to produce a very subtle yet sporty note that does not become intrusive at motorway cruising speeds. New products and new sections - 13/10/2006 |

Here at K-Tec we have been very busy bringing in new products and developing new sections to our website. We also now have a very good promotion on our range of mirrors, most of which now have a 50% reduction in price due to stock clearance. The new sections added to our website include wheel and tyre sections, wheel/tyre packages that come with Toyo tyres fitted and balanced and the range of Momo steering wheels and appropriate steering wheel bosses for all Renault models. Also, our Clio 197 Sport demo car is coming soon with a host of new and exciting products including ECU re-maps, exhausts, induction kits and bodystyling products. K-Tec Racing at the 2006 Tuner GP. - 09/09/2006 |

Over the August bank holdiday the second UK Tuner GP was held and Snetterton race cicuit. As last year, we entered our Clio 172 turbo into the hot hatch class as the car has been perfoming without fault over the last year since the last Tuner GP. We were up against several cars including Golfs, Skodas, Seats and Vauxhall Astras. After a long day on the track and drag strip we managed second place overall in the Hot Hatch group, only being beaten by a factory backed Vauxhall Astra that was being driven by a professional Touring car driver. We also managed to win the 0-60 sprint with a time of just 4.73 seconds which we feel is very impressive for the front wheel drive car. We now have some fine tuning of the cars set up to carry out over the next few months ready for a long season of track days for next year where we hope the car will get even quicker.

New Renault 5 `Engine Components` section released - 02/08/2006 |

The K-Tec Racing team have been striving to offer some new and interesting products. We now have our 172/182 polished stainless steel strut braces in stock, a range of new Orbisoud exhausts and have we have developed a new `Engine Components` for Renault 5 GT Turbo owners. The section lists all the components needed for a full engine rebuild with a range of uprated components for high power applications. As well as this we have released a new KTR250 Rollerbearing turbo which will be a welcome addition to our line up of turbos with its T25 low-lag rollerbearing core. The K-Tec Racing team have been busy working the shows and our Clio 172 Turbo car has been undergoing a thorough `grilling` on the track with absolutely no problems. We now have a Quaife LSD in the car and hope to be doing some giant killing at this years Tuner GP @ Snetterton (www.tunergp.co.uk).

ECU remaps now available. - 19/05/2006 |

We have now finished testing our Group N spec ecu remaps for the 172 and 182 models following some very good results. Gains of over 8bhp and 9lbs/ft of torque have been produced, further details and a power graph can be seen in the 172/182 engine section of this site. We are still testing programs for the Megane 225 and so far we have been able to gain over 30bhp and 50lbs/ft in the mid range on a standard car. With further testing we hope to be able to fully release a 225 map very soon.

The K-Tec Racing team are looking forward to attending this years upcoming shows with many track days in between with our continually developing 172 Turbo. This month we have been striving to develop new products; highlights include the Megane 1 angel eyes that are exclusive to us and will be with us very soon, the Megane 225 re-map that will increase boost and give the large associated power/torque gains (figures to be released soon - keep an eye on our website for updates) and the H&R coilover suspension kits for most models that are amongst the best that are available and very well regarded by road and track drivers alike. We look forward to meeting new and old customers alike at the shows and wish you all a happy Easter.

We have recenty added many new parts to our website for many different Renault models. These parts include forged pistons for the Clio 1 and 172/182 models, new exhaust systems for the Megane 225 and 182, diesel tuning upgrades for most Renault diesel models, Green air filters for just about all models, new 182 style exhaust systems for the 172 and Clio 2 models plus many other engine and styling parts. We are also now adding parts for the Laguna 1 and 2 as well new products for the latest Clio 3. With 2005 being a good year with many new and interesting products we are endeavoring to make 2006 even better with more Renault tuning and styling parts being updated constantly. Some of you may of noticed the wealth of new products on our website including a large range of Green induction kits, forged internals including con-rods and pistons for the Clio 1 + 2, Megane 1 angel eye headlights and the 182 look system for the 172/Cup. Some of the upcoming highlights include a Limited Slip Differential for the Clio 172/182/Cup that K-Tec have been asked to test by Quaife, a 182 look exhaust for non sport models, new bodykits for the Clio 1, Clio 2, Megane 1 and Megane 2 models and a new range of products for the Laguna and Clio 3 models.
